About the INK program.
As an actors’ ensemble that produces contemporary texts we’re passionate about, we’ve always been inspired by great writing. A meaningful engagement with Australian playwrights is both vital to our practice and an investment in shaping our cultural identity.
INK is a bespoke development program with a strong commitment to production outcomes. INK seeks playwrights who are excited about collaborating with the Red Stitch ensemble. INK offers the rare opportunity to have an ongoing relationship with other artists alongside the resources, structure and support of a program that is flexible and personal enough to accommodate each writer’s strengths and needs. INK is determined to nurture work to its fullest potential, tailoring the development process to best serve each writer’s vision while offering the support and expertise of our ensemble and associates.
