Tim Ross
Before moving to Melbourne, Tim performed stand-up comedy around his home town of Adelaide over a 2 year period, as well as appearing in various stage productions for the Adelaide Theatre Guild. An acceptance in to the Victorian College of the Arts 3 year drama course lured Tim to Melbourne where he performed in a range of plays including Our Country’s Good, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, Victory, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, King Lear, The Venetian Twins and The Perjured City. In his final year at VCA in 2007, Tim was awarded the Orloff Family Charitable Trust Scholarship for demonstration of outstanding commitment to the course.
In 2011, Tim made his MTC debut playing Laertes in Simon Phillips’ production of Hamlet, followed by MTC’s world premiere of Return to Earth, directed by Aidan Fennessy.
