Glyn Roberts

Glyn is a playwright, producer, dramaturg and educator. He is currently Program Manager at Brisbane’s La Boite Theatre Company. Glyn is one of the founders of MKA: Theatre of New Writing, the 2012 recipient of the Green Room Special Award for Contribution to Independent Theatre in Melbourne. Glyn is a previous writer-in-residence with Red Stitch.

His play Triangle was short-listed for the 2011 Patrick White Playwrights’ Award and his play She Dances Like A Bomb was placed on the highly commended list for the 2013 Griffin Award. He holds a Masters in Writing for Performance from the University of Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts. He is the recent recipient of the K & E Murdoch Travelling Fellowship to study dramaturgical practice at theatres across Germany and the Netherlands.
