Dan Lee
Dan began writing for theatre while living in Broome, Western Australia about four years ago. His first play Bottomless otherwise known as Frogs Cry Wolf received the last R E Ross Trust award in 2014 and was developed by Play Writing Australia, Red Stitch and the MTC. While this first play was sent out into the world in search of a stage, Dan sat down and completed three others. He now lives in Melbourne with his wife and baby son and is concerned mainly with stories that try to make sense of the speed at which humanity is hurtling toward an uncertain and unsustainable future. Having said that, most of his work falls into the category of comedy, if a little dark and surreal at times.
