Anna Samson

Graduate Program

Anna is a recent graduate from the VCA, she joins Red Stitch as a graduate ensemble member for 2011. Prior to VCA she worked in numerous theatre companies in the Sydney and Nepean areas.  In 2007 Anna was awarded the Robin Anderson film award for her performance in a short film and was selected as a solo artist in Onstage at the Sydney Seymour centre. Her theatre credits include, Alice Dreaming (Wharf Theatre), Innocence – The Life and Death of Caravaggio, Gulf War, Much Ado About Nothing, Ghetto and O’HORO – The Dance of Death. While at the VCA Anna was the recipient of the John Tallis award for drama.  Anna co-devised and performed in the show Womb Division in 2009, which will be enjoying its return season in the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2011.
